Snowy night…

Just simply lovely. I don’t recall the name of the drink, but with its simple elegance, I just had to post the picture. It is a perfect example of a snowy quiet night, as imagewe are having in Dallas tonight. I did “pin” the picture from Pinterst.

Princess for a day!

That is the feeling that I had while enjoying my “Princess” cupcake from Gigi’s Cupcakes located at the corner of Midway and Park in Dallas. It was a delight biting into my strawberry cupcake topped with creamy smooth mounds of sour cream icing. And how sweet are the pink crystal sprinkles and pink candy crown? Loved every flavorful bite and moment of my princess moment!image

Comfort food…

The weather outside, is drizzling and the temperature is dropping, so it is a grand Sunday evening to have comfort food! My dish is unique in the fact that it is comfort food with a light twist to it. It is spaghetti and meatballs on a mound of iceberg lettuce. The warmth of the spaghetti is a imagenice contrast to the crunch shredded lettuce. I just drizzled olive oil and sprinkled garlic parsley salt over the top for a light sauce. With a nice glass of red wine, makes for a comfort meal to be enjoyed on a cold freezing drizzled night, but without some of the guilt!

All about love…

I just adore this quote, and I all ways feel the love of and from my family and friends. It was especially so this week, as we celebrated Valentine’s Day! Let’s continue to feel the love this month and each day, because Pooh, couldn’t have said it better!image

Work of art…

I am in the mood for chocolate as Valentine’s Day is upon us, and this decadent cup of velvety sweet hot chocolate soothes my cravings. And, with the its glistening swirls of chocolate syrup, adds a lovely touch of art work to brighten any sweetheart! Have aimage cup this weekend at the Coffee House located at Preston & Frankford in Dallas.
